We (Richard and Leona Bergstrom, Re-Ignite Directors) just returned from a six-week sabbatical leave during which we explored many amazing sites in Europe and had countless memorable experiences! We were also privileged to minister in Sweden, Latvia and Estonia.
The most rewarding part of the trip was facilitating a Re-Ignite Retreat in Kåfalla, Sweden, hosted by Evangeliska Frikyrken. Several leading-edge Boomers from Stockholm, Örebro and Linköping came together in a beautiful conference center to explore God’s direction for the next phase of their lives. Here’s what participants said were the best parts of the retreat:
- Having time to sit in a beautiful environment and think about my life.
- The good teaching and challenging content.
- Having peace and quietness to think on things of interest and importance.
- Considering how to cut away the things that keep me from pursuing my purpose and passion.
