WAIT.

The command is thunderous, forceful and unquestionable. I am to stay at the edge of the crosswalk and not proceed until the annoying voice gives permission. It’s frustrating, but I must admit compliance undoubtedly prevents hazard and peril.

I’m hearing a softer “wait, wait, wait” as I sit in my office today preparing letters, writing news releases and making travel plans. We are waiting for our book to be printed and made available. To list the little hiccups we are encountering in getting our words into your hands would be less than entertaining. Just know this: we are learning a lot about writing and publishing a book.

So I changed the release date on our website again. This time I simply put “August 2016.” It really won’t be long, and it’s going to be exciting when we can share our message with the world.

But, for now, we wait.
